How to add a service page to your website

To add a service page to your website, follow these steps:

Log in to the BUILT dashboard at app.builtfortrades.co.uk. If it's your first time logging in or if you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot your password" option and follow the instructions sent to your email.

Once logged in, navigate to the sidebar on the left-hand side of the dashboard. If you don't see the sidebar, toggle it on by clicking on the three lines icon in the top left corner.

Under "My website" in the sidebar, click on the "Services" section. Then, click on the orange "Services" tab at the top of the page.

To add a new service, click on the "New service" option. Enter a title for the service, such as "Air Source Heat Pump Installation," and provide some text describing the service.

Specify the order in which you want the service to appear on your services page. For example, if you want it to show 4th, set the order number to 4. By default, a new service will show at the top of the list.

Upload an image related to the service by selecting an appropriate image file. Make sure the image dimensions are 630 pixels by 420 pixels for the best display.

After uploading the image, click "Save" to add the service to your services page.

Now, create a dedicated page for the service content. Click on "Page" instead of "Service" on the page you've been working on.

Activate the page by selecting the "Page Active" option. Enter a page title, which will appear at the top of the page, and a URL that reflects the service.

Provide a page title and description that accurately represents the content of the page and includes relevant keywords for SEO purposes. This is what will show in Google search results. The title should be between 30-60 characters and the description should be between 130-160 characters.

Add content to the page using the editor provided. You can use headings (H2 or H3), text formatting options, lists, and images to structure the content and make it visually appealing.

Break up the text with images to enhance readability. Make sure to give each image a relevant title for SEO.

If needed, link text to other pages on your website by highlighting the text, clicking the link icon, and entering the URL.

Lastly, upload a custom header image for the page if desired. Make sure the image dimensions are 1600 pixels by 526 pixels for optimal display.

Save your progress regularly to prevent loss of work. Once you're satisfied with the page, click "Save" to publish it on your website.

Ensure that the content on your service page is unique and relevant to your customers' needs. Include information such as service details, benefits, and frequently asked questions.
