Step 1: Log In to Your BUILT Dashboard

  1. Access the Dashboard: Go to app.builtfortrades.co.uk and sign in.
  2. Forgot Password: If you don't remember your password, use the "Forgot your password" link to reset it.

Step 2: Navigate to the Offers Section

  1. Locate Offers: Once logged in, find the "Offers" option on the left-hand sidebar under "My Website".
  2. Activate Offers Page: Click on "Offers", then toggle the option at the top to activate the offers page and click "Save".

Step 3: Customise the Offers Page Header

  1. Update Header Text: On the BUILT dashboard, in the Offers section, click the "Orange Header" tab to update the text.
  2. Save Changes: For example, change "Offers and Promotions" to "Our Offers" and save the changes.

Step 4: Create a New Offer

  1. Add a New Offer: Click the orange "New Offer" button.
  2. Title the Offer: Enter a descriptive title, e.g., "10% off Boiler Servicing this Summer".
  3. Set Active Status: Toggle the "Active" option if you want the offer to be visible immediately.

Step 5: Schedule the Offer (optional)

  1. Set Start Date (optional): Toggle the start date option if you want the offer to begin on a future date. Select the desired date from the calendar.
  2. Set End Date (optional): Toggle the end date option and set it to the desired end date. This will automatically remove the offer from the website on that date.

Step 6: Add an Image

  1. Upload an Image: Click on the image upload section, choose an image file, and upload it. Use tools like Canva to create professional images if needed.

Step 7: Add Offer Details

  1. Enter Text: Click on the orange text tab and add details about the offer. Include the discount, eligibility, expiration date, and reasons to take advantage of the offer.
  2. Customer Instructions: Mention that customers should refer to the promotion when contacting you.

Step 8: Add a Call-to-Action Button

  1. Choose Button Action: Select "Open the contact page when the button is clicked" for a default option.
  2. Button Text: Enter text for the button, such as "Book Now".
  3. Alternative Links: If you use a third-party service for contact forms, choose the appropriate link option (new tab or same tab).

Step 9: Review and Save

  1. Preview Offer: Click the "View" button to see how the offer appears on the website.
  2. SEO Title and Description: Create an SEO title (up to 60 characters) and a description (130-160 characters) for Google search results. This is important for search engine visibility.
